Fresh Start Surgical Gifts is a nationally recognized, Platinum-rated 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to transforming the lives of children with physical deformities—at absolutely no cost to their families.

Whether caused by birth defects, accidents, abuse, or disease, these conditions can deeply impact a child’s confidence, comfort, and opportunities in life. Since 1991, Fresh Start has delivered life-changing reconstructive surgeries and comprehensive medical care to thousands of children across the U.S. through the expertise of world-class volunteer surgeons.

With hospital partners in California, Texas, Illinois, and Massachusetts, our commitment goes far beyond a single procedure. We provide long-term, ongoing care, continuing treatment for as many surgeries and years as a child needs.
