34th Annual Butterfly Ball – FAQ

What time does the event start?
Check-in begins at 5:00 PM. Guests are encouraged to arrive early to enjoy a welcome drink and browse the silent auction before the main program begins.
What should I wear?
The dress code is Cocktail Attire, but feel free to get festive with a air or space-inspired flair! Think retro-futuristic, metallics, bold prints, or vintage flight attendant—have fun with it!
Where should I park?
Parking is free! There are several adjoining parking lots near the museum. We will have a roving shuttle if you don't feel like walking. It's not an airplane or a space shuttle, but it will get you to the party!
Will there be food and drinks?
Absolutely! Guests will enjoy a hosted bar, passed hors d'oeuvres, a seated dinner, and dessert, along with adult beverages.
What is the Butterfly Ball benefiting?
The Butterfly Ball supports Fresh Start Surgical Gifts, providing life-changing surgeries and comprehensive medical care for children in need—all at no cost to the families. 100% of all donations directly benefit our Children's Medical Program.
Will there be a silent or live auction?
Yes! Both. You’ll have the opportunity to bid on exclusive packages during the silent auction, and join in the excitement during our live auction and Sponsor-A-Patient paddle raise to directly support a child’s transformation. The silent auction will start on Wednesday November 12th. All registered guests with a valid email or phone number on file will receive a personalized bidding link. Please don't forward your link- or someone else can bid as you!
Can I bring a guest?
Yes! We’d love for you to share this special evening with friends, family, or colleagues. Additional dinner tickets can be purchased on the "Registration" tab of the event page. Be sure to secure your guest’s spot early, as seating is limited.
